Bridges Across Cultural Center
Where Cultures Meet & People Connect
At BA Cultural Center, we believe that culture has no barriers and no borders. It is a universal language that brings people together, builds understanding, and creates unity.
We are a space where cultures meet, music speaks, and human connections grow. Through art, cuisine, literature, and shared experiences, we create opportunities for people from all backgrounds to connect, learn, and inspire one another.
Our mission is to support and uplift musicians, artists, writers, and individuals in need by providing a platform where their voices can be heard and their talents can shine.
We are more than a cultural center — we are a community. A place of exchange, creativity, and solidarity.
Join us in building bridges between cultures and celebrating the richness of our diversity.

Our Story
The story of BA Cultural Center begins in Lahic—a place where history breathes through stone streets and tradition lives in every home. It is a village shaped by centuries, welcoming thousands of travelers from across the world, each bringing their own language, rhythm, and perspective.
It was here that our founder Billura Bayramova was born and grew up, surrounded not only by her own heritage but by a constant flow of cultures meeting at her doorstep. As a young girl, she became a bridge between worlds—sharing the stories of her village, the richness of her country, and the warmth of its people with curious visitors from afar.
She often compares her journey to weaving a carpet. Thread by thread, she built her life—interlacing memories, traditions, and human connections into something meaningful and enduring. Each encounter added a new color, each shared story a new pattern.
Years later, that vision found its formal expression far from home, in Nigeria, with the founding of the Friends of Azerbaijan organization. What began as a personal mission evolved into a collective movement—supported by family, friends, and partners who believed in the power of cultural connection.
From this foundation, BA Cultural Center was born.
Today, it stands as a living space where cultures meet and speak to one another—through music that transcends language, conversations that spark understanding, and flavors that bring people together. It is more than a center; it is a continuation of a journey that began in Lahic—a journey of sharing, learning, and celebrating the beauty of human diversity.
At BA Cultural Center, every voice matters, every culture is honored, and every connection becomes part of a larger story—one we continue to weave together.
